♫ Steel Pan • Call for Participants in Orchestra Experience ♫

The steelpan, a musical instrument originated in the Caribbean island nation of Trinidad ・ Tobago, is a musical instrument whose pitch is created by striking the bottom of a drum with a hammer.

It is also called a steel drum, but unlike so-called drums, it can play melodies and harmonies.

Its glittering, tropical, gentle tone is something you have probably heard at least once on TV or radio.

Jan. 26 (日) Steelpan ・ Orchestra Experience.

We will play one simple piece in an ensemble with a
steelpan orchestra made up of various steelpans from high to low notes.

Small children are welcome to join us, so please come and play with your family.
(For younger children, please make sure an adult accompanies you.

We are also looking for students for the Steelpan Beginners ・ Orchestra Class. Once they have mastered the pieces they play, they will perform at various events.
