Regarding suspicious phone calls claiming to be from police officers

In the city of Kimitsu, a fraudulent phone call has been received, purporting to be from a police officer.
The caller states, "Your account is being used for fraud and we need to transfer the money in your account to a new account. ' 'We need to know how much money you have in your account.' If you hear words such as 'This is a scam,' it is a scam.
To prevent damage, set your home phone to answering machine even when you are at home and do not talk to the person on the other end of the line.
Also, the perpetrator may instruct you to call them on line, but the police will not call them on line.
