Regarding suspicious phone calls claiming to be from police officers

In Kimitsu City, a fraudulent caller is claiming to be a police officer.
During the call, the caller will instruct you to communicate with the caller on an app called "Signal," or "send us a picture of yourself every three hours," etc. If you hear such words, it is a scam.
To prevent damage, please set your home landline or cell phone to voicemail and do not talk to the criminal.
Also, the perpetrator will instruct you to call them on LINE, SIGNAL, or other social networking sites, but the police will not call you on LINE or SIGNAL.
If you respond and 'give them your personal information' or 'tell them about your family structure or that you are an elderly-only household', please immediately call 110 or report to the Kimitsu Police Station.
