Crowdfunding] We want to create a place at Kisarazu station where people can connect through books ！.

We are challenging a project to create a "library" where people living in the city can connect with each other through books, utilizing a former convenience store right under JR Kisarazu Station ！

Kisarazu is a port city located in the midwestern part of Chiba Prefecture, along the Tokyo Bay. Around the station, there are many shrines, temples, and retro buildings that convey the history of Kisarazu to the present. A short walk from the station brings you to the shallow sea, which is crowded with tourists in springtime for tiohigari (ebb and flow) fishing.

In recent years, however, the area around the station has been hollowed out due to changes in the lifestyles of its citizens, such as the development of residential areas in the suburbs and the construction of large-scale commercial facilities, and the number of coin-operated parking lots has increased and the shopping area is becoming a so-called "shuttered street".
There are seven high schools ・ in Kisarazu, and many high school students use Kisarazu Station, but there are few places for them to stay around the station, and the Corona disaster has closed off their contact with the city.

We therefore established the "Kisarazu City Center Revitalization Council ・ Youth Group," an organization in which high school students themselves take the initiative in revitalizing the Kisarazu Station area, and with the cooperation of JR, we began creating a place for high school students to stay after school using the former convenience store site.

We will create a place in front of Kisarazu station where people can casually experience culture with their own hands. Let's build a library under the station together by sharing a small amount of FLAT's operating expenses ？
