In 1984, he graduated from Toho Gakuen College and studied at the Berlin University of the Arts. In 1986, he won the first prize at the Nicolai ・ Marko International Competition for Conductors. Daiji Miyata [Cello]
In 2009, Miyata became the first Japanese winner of the Rostropovich International Cello Competition. He has won all the competitions he has participated in so far. His overwhelming performance is highly supported by composers and collaborators, and has been acclaimed by world-renowned conductor ・ Seiji Ozawa, who has made him one of Japan's leading cellists on the international stage.
He graduated from the Geneva Conservatory in Switzerland and completed the Kronberg ・ Academy in Germany.
He studied cello with Sumiko Kurata and France ・ Helmerson, and chamber music with the Tokyo Quartet, Sadao Harada, Koichiro Harada, Tomoko Kato, Nobuko Imai, Richard ・ Young, Gabor ・ Takács, = Naji
