Studied violin from age 3 to 17; won the 14th Popcon Grand Prix and the 8th World Song Festival Grand Prix in 1977 with "Anata no Ballad.
His husky voice and shouts attracted attention as a gem that would revolutionize the rock scene up to that time.

Our friend, Muneyuki Kamimoto (exTWIST) GUILD9" with Takuya Yokose, guitarist Yoshio Nomura, bassist Tetsuo Sakurai (Cassiopeia),
and other musicians from overseas such as Eric ・ Goffen, Doug ・ Aldrich （ exWhitesnake [G] ）, Chris ・ Frazier （ ex White Snake [Dr] ） and others to form "TWIST INTERNATIONAL".
"WE ARE GUILD9" was released in August 2007, and Sera went to the U.S. alone to produce "JACARANDA" with Eric ・ Goffen and Doug ・ Aldrich. It was released in September of the same year.
In December, they invited Doug ・ Aldrich from LA to join Muneyuki Kamimoto and Marty ・ Friedman (ex Megadeth) for the 30th anniversary live concert, which was well received.
